Finally got a picture that didnt glare his eyes out :)

I can remember when he could fit in the palm of my hand. I doubt he'll get much bigger then this though.

I dont know why that nine out of ten photo's with Thorne end up with him sticking his tongue out.

Elaine & I, October 2007

Mostly I just think if I were to die, I would like to come back as one of my own cats.

Colors

I never remember what colours cats can see, but anything red or green seems to really draw their attention, especially if it's both colors together - like a watermelon face mask Denine has just seems to totally trip them out. They walk around it like it's going to attack them at any time.

This is Tempest. He's from the same litter as Thorn. They were given up by a lady who said she just couldn't tend to them any more due to grooming needs, etc. I don't really find it that difficult. They get a bath a few times a month, no more then once a week, and brushed for a few minutes every day. They are pretty tolerant of the whole process, and persians are very docile and even when they bite, they just put their teeth on my arm and then never bite down. They are actually about a year old now.

Victory!

There's nothing better then streching out for a cat nap after a successfull hunt. *nods*

Shard and Thorn

I guess you have to practice taking down your prey on some one. Thorn is patient enough to allow it. Or lazy enough. Whichever.

Shard and Thorn

I mean, you define "Fine". I'de define it for you, but I would get in trouble :(

This is when we first got Shard, the tiny black strippey kitten. He spent several days hissing and spatting at the big guys, until one day when he fell asleep in my arms and I just set him on the floor with the boys. They've been fine ever since.
